Texas Tech routs #21 Auburn 47-9 in the Cotton Bowl. Cody Hodges had a huge game to finish his career as a Red Raider throwing for 416 and 4 TDs. He finishes his career as Texas Tech's all time leader in passing yards and touchdowns. He led Tech to the program's first bowl game and started almost every game since the season opener 3 years ago against Nebraska, (missed senior day of senior season after being injured against UCF). He leaves Texas Tech with over 16,000 career passing yards and 142 Touchdowns.

Well first game at USC started out with a bang! Winning 37-10 defense didn't give up a TD till late 4th. Game started out with them fumbling kick off USC then having a 5 play TD drive. Next drive USC intercepted them in the end zone. Got up 10-0 got little greedy forced a ball they had INT down to the 1. Defense proceeded to stop them 4 straight plays to take over at 1 and had 99 yard drive to break their back! Looking at team not a lot of depth some how they got 5th recruiting class but doesn't look promising. Next year might be a 8-4 season if we're lucky. Excited to join fellas
