The most important thing is hitting. The bat isn't working as the PCI in The Show. If the bat silhouette isn't making contact with the ball then you won't hit it.

But there is also a timing only mode for ppl who prefer this method.

Saw a trailer for this and it looks incredible. The graphics/ animations blow The Show out of the water. I wish I could get this easily here in the states

I used to be able to play PYS but my hands don't work like they used to. Timing only hitting unless they have changed it since the last game doesn't work anywhere nearly as good as The Show. You won't get the experience of the game that way at all. Anyway I would like to see if they have changed or added some animations to my mind the game did become stale due to the same animations in every iteration since forever. Looking forward to seeing some gameplay nice to see them do a version for current gen.

You can. I got it from the PS store digital download for their last game. Just need an Asian PSN account which is easy to do. If you're on PC its just on Steam.
