Poster above you was talking about the mobile game this thread is about. PYS 24/25 doesn't have an MLB license. Comparing a console and mobile game is apples to oranges.

Mobile game is out and it’s great! Always loved the hitting and pitching interfaces. Simple but effective.

I have seen YouTube videos of the Japanese PS5 version and it looks good so I hope they come out with a similar PS5 MLB version.

I have just started playing this game on iPad and I gotta say, from someone who has played 15+ years of MLB The Show...this game is pretty great. SCEA better hope they don't make a console version.



Obviously it's apples and oranges (The Show just has so much more), but the things that MLB Pro Spirit does, they do really well. The hitter/pitcher interaction is extremely smooth and satisfying. Sooo much better looking than MLB The Show in terms of the transition of swings to contact, windups, etc. MLB The Show is just so janky, trying to connect all the animations, but this mobile game just does is so damn well. Highly recommend trying it out.
