After sifting through all the new options the game is offering I am convinced that the online experience of the game will be limited solely to roster updates. This makes me very mad for given both the x-box and ps2 have online capabilities I think it's pure negligence on the part of Acklaim not to inlcude head to head play. As well, from what I can see many of the additions are merely cosmetic, such as the tour a stadium and more detailed faces. I am not an ASB basher but no online play in their game, as well as any of the competition's game's, makes me a rather disgruntled consumer. Anybody else dissapointed ?

No, because I have a PS2 and I don't have a network adapter so it doesn't matter to me if a baseball game this year has online play

Online play wouldve been nice, but I would much rather have good gameplay out of all the games this year and then hope for online play next year. If they can get everything close to right then they have less excuses that can be made when they implement online play. Plus they shouldnt have to take any features away to get the online portion.

Just my thoughts. Online play is not a must have just yet. By next year it will be though.

I agree. It would have been nice this year but it's no big deal.

If everyone wants a realistic baseball game why is HH so low on the totem pole? I didn't buy any baseball games last year. From what I've read HH is not good graphically but it plays the best of them all.

Thats true but ppl wont the entire package, Graphics and gameplay. And WSB and ASB had the graphics but fell short on gameplay b/c of a few minor or major gripes. But this year ASB and WSB are at the same if not passing HH in terms of gameplay and HH from the looks of it still has'nt got a graphical rehaul so some devouted HH fans are turning elsewhere in search of the complete package.
Anyhow, I'm pickin up HH anyway because it the first BBall game out.
