Sorry for posting this out of the official thread. It is a very specific question though that isn't an impression.
I just bought the game and have read the entire manual (which is pretty helpful)....
I got over the disappointment that you can't use the Wii-mote in season or league modes several weeks ago when this was mentioned in a few previews. It also is disappointing that in these exhibition games with the Wii-mote, you can only hit and pitch. The computer controls baserunning, fielding and throwing in exhibition mode with the Wii-mote. From what I gather from the manual, when you play exhibition games, you have to use Miis.
On one hand, this could be horrible - if the game just randomly assigns positions and abilities to your Miis every time you play the game. It will take all of the joy out of the game if your Mii plays random positions or has a random level of abilty in every game.
On the other hand, if we are able to edit our Miis in the game and save their attributes and positions for the game, I think I could grow to accept that the computer is handling fielding, throwing and baserunning. This way, I could make Miis that have different positions and abiltiies, and have reasonably decent games that at least allow me to use the Wii-mote to hit and pitch.
Has anyone tried the Wii-mote exhibition? or the edit mode? How much control do we have over our teams and players in this mode?
