Re: Your Top 5 Baseball Games of all time

1. The Show 2009 (PS3)
2. World Series Baseball '98 (Saturn)
3. MVP 05-(07) (PC)
4. Baseball Stars Professional (Neo Geo)
5. Earl Weaver Baseball (PC)

I still have and play these games with the exeption of Earl Weaver which I wish I could find a copy of!

Honorable mention: All Star Baseball 2005. A Very deep management game but on the field play was lacking imo.

Re: Your Top 5 Baseball Games of all time

I LOVED ASB 04/05. I'm always kicking myself in the butt, because when I was younger I couldn't really appreciate it, but now that I'm older I always wish that I had played it more when it was still around.

I don't know TOO many various baseball games, but I'd have to say:

1. MVP Baseball 2005 (with or without mods, this was great. but mods make it even better!)
2. MLB the show 08
3. MLB the show 09 (only reason 08 is better than 09 is bc 09 has horrible BRing controls in RTTS).

and that's it, i guess, haha.

Re: Your Top 5 Baseball Games of all time

This is a tough one, and normally I do my lists by my plain "favorites," but this time I'll go the route that most people go and say what I was most impressed by "at the time."

1) MLB 09: The Show (PS3)
2) MLB 2K5 (Xbox)
3) All Star Baseball 2003 (PS2)
4) Interplay Sports Baseball 2000 (PSX)
5) Ken Griffey Jr.'s SlugFest (N64)

Some honorable mentions:

- MLB Power Pros (PS2)
- MLB 2001 (PSX)
- World Series Baseball 95 (Genesis)
- Triple Play '98 (PSX)
- Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball (SNES)

Only problem with the last mention is I didn't get it right when it came out, and instead got it in like 1999 or something. So comparatively I already had Triple Play '98 to compare it to, which was my first "next gen" baseball game since SNES and SEGA Genesis.
