Best backwards compatible Xbox baseball game?

So far my experience with Original Xbox games on the Xbox 360 has been great; both NFL 2K5 and NCAA Football 2006 are great games and receive a lot of playing time. I've been less than impressed with baseball games on the Xbox 360, with the only decent baseball experience coming from an arcade game (The Bigs 2). So I was wondering, out of the many backwards compatible games, which would be the best to pick up?

All-Star Baseball 2003/2005
ESPN Major League Baseball
High-Heat MLB 2004

Out of these, I've only played Slugfest 2003, All-Star 2003 and MVP 2004.

I had, and loved dearly, MVP 2004. Vastly underrated, as I feel it wasn't that much worse than 05. Definitely gets my vote.

hh2004 looks much better than it did on the original xbox, to go along with excellent gameplay.

Franchise mode - ASB 2005

...It would be hard for me to recommend MVP 2004 because of the nasty lefty bug and a few other bugs.

ASB 05 would be my pick. Great franchise/expansion mode.

Another vote for the franchise/expansion mode for All Star 2005.
Picked up HH04 last week and I like All Star 2005 better.

I wish we could play MVP05 on the 360.

Another gem- if you can get past the sketchy player graphics..is World Series 2K3 with the ESPN presentation. What I really LOVE about the game is you can play with all fictional players and it has a great GM mode..

I acutually went out a bought an original xbox to play MVP 05 for $45

I was personally an avid fan of ESPN MLB 2K5.

The lefty bug was a game killer IMO. I know that phrase gets tossed around too often but I feel it's appropriate for a glitch in a baseball game that basically nerfs the power of every left-handed hitter.

I thought the 2k4 baseball game was really great at the time.

NCAA MVP Baseball 06. Drew Stubbs on the cover. Actually got it out, fired up the old Xbox and went into the batting practice mini game this morning. I downloaded rosters when the game was new. Miami had Ryan Braun, Danny Valencia, and Jon Jay.

I just recently got a copy of ASB 05 and have fallen in love all over again. It is so much easier and much more fun than the current offerings there are today. I'm already 2-0 in my franchise and could see myself going undefeated in this game forever.

When I originally played this in 2004 i had a blast in my final season with the game i went something like 122-40 or something like that. it was a great season, i had a 40+ game winning streak in that season. Every starting pitcher i had went 20+ wins and every hitter in my starting lineup went 30+ hrs and 100+ RBI's.

I"m out to make that season seem like child's play... im going for perfection this time. No losses for any starting pitcher, no losses for my team.

If i can continue to play as well as i am on Legend going 2-0 to open my season i have no doubt i will get it done...

i have yet to choose a team to do an expansion franchise with. that will be tomorrow's problem to deal with.. right now im just happy i have a game that i can dominate with and not have to worry about over educated AI's of todays games...

i could see myself playing this game for its full on 20 season thing... and go back and do it again... maybe i could turn this into my old days with Tecmo bowl and try to take every team in the game and make them champions...

sounds like a good idea... could work... hmmm... yeah i might do that... first off my oakland A's.
