Probably be a good idea that you just close this. Nothing good ever comes of these types of threads
I believe that the Show has always been WAY better for offline stuff and 2k I think has the advantage online. At least that is how its been in previous games. Here is a pretty good video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvMvZ...eature=related it was made pretty early so the games probably have changed a bit. Oh and the graphics for the show poop on 2k.
just trying to get a feel for the differences in franchise mode. didnt know this thing was ran so strict.
i completely understand ur intention but yeah, these kind of discussions never end nicely...dont take it personally...hence a forum specifically for what ur askin
Well, I bought a ps3 only for the show.
I played mlb 2k before I decided to get the show and I have to say I had my fair share of fun with it and I don't consider it as bad as some other people do.
However I NEVER regret getting my ps3 just to play the show. It's just great, and in my honest opinion if you are a huge baseball fan it's almost a must buy!
and as I said 2K is a pretty solid game but for me the show is just simply outstanding.
OTOH, 2k makes a PC version, which, with mods, can be made so much more realistic......from stadiums to uniforms, right down to equipment. Something niether console can do.
I've been a Show fan since 08, but always wanted to give 2k a shot on PC for the reasons mentioned above. (plus the $30 price tag, ha)

If you're PC can run it you must do it. Do the behind the catcher view for both pitching and batting and the pitching/batting is just beautiful. Where the games differ though greatly in graphics is once the ball is in the field. I'm hoping 2k has improved the transition from contact to field this year.
