We are monitoring and fixing issues in this thread.
Thanks for your patience.
The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.

Official wishlist for High Heat Baseball 2004. Post away. What would you like to see improved or added in next year's installment of High Heat Baseball?
Also note, we have game developers who visit the site on occasion, and they do listen to what people have to say. So tell them what you want to see in the game.
I think improved graphics is a no-brainer, but I'd really like to have the ability to specifically spot my pitches instead of just choosing between ball and strike. Maybe there could be an option to change between pitching cursor and ball/strike.

You can. You just choose strike and push down to throw a low strike.
Personally, HH non cursor game allow for a very realistic number of walks and strike outs, both by pitching and while hitting.
That said, my biggest gripe with the HH series coming from the perspective of a PC owner who will be going to the console version for the first time this season, has been the visuals. dGraphically, the game has always suffered and they very much need to work not on player models, but on animation transitions and flow.
I don't know, maybe it's nice to have a game with an alternative for those who prefer it, but I could never get into not being able to specifically place my pitches (or swings, for that matter). Sure, by pressing down I can throw a low strike, but still, it's not quite the same. It seems like the option to go either way would please everybody. I'd give HH2004 a very serious look next year if pitching/batting cursors were available, instead of just making it an occasional rental when I'm bored.
HatTrick - I'm pretty sure you can do that. I recall swinging at outside pitches and pushing outside with the D pad to take the ball to RF (RH batter). When pitching I was able to select a curve on the outside part of the plate and then hold outside and the ball would end up out of the strike zone.
Better Graphics is a must
Franchise Mode would be nice
Minor League systems
High Heat is an excellent game. However, it definitely has areas in need of improvement. First of all, graphics, textures and animations need more work. It would be nice if stadiums had the same color seats as they do in real life. Rain outs and delays showing the grounds crew covering the field would be super. I still haven't seen a ball drop into the water at Pac Bell. Allowing roofs to retract would be awesome. The setting sometimes change back after you've reworked them. This needs attention. I will add more later if I think of any.
I agree with the previous post. Being able to battle and foul off more pitches would be nice. Maybe you could have an option to play with increased foul balls because this would be bound to increase game length. Increases hit types would be another nice addition. An improved presentation would be a nice touch. More lines of audio for the announcers. I do like Dave O'Brien though. That's all for now.
