Luckily there isn't a lot of player movement in NPB year after year but you won't have the recently drafted players and foreigners. Will be missing some key players with 2019/20 version of the game like Sato for Hanshin, Hayakawa for Rakuten and Kuribiyashi for Hiroshima.

Thank you for the info, Thinking about picking it up

Why haven't they included an english option in the menus yet?

Localization of software is very expensive, resourcefully and technically. The game probably sells fewer than 10K copies to predominantly English speaking countries, so the value is not there for Konami.

Pro Yakyuu Spirits 2020

Around the time frame we should hopefully get another game this upcoming year. Hope it returns to the PS5

Re: Pro Yakyuu Spirits 2020

Does anyone have the contents from the SpiritTranslations website available somewhere? I was looking for some info on Dream League today and that specific part of the site now requires a sign-up. I'm willing to sign-up, but hesitant since the site hasn't been touched/supported since 2020.

With Spring Training upon us, fired up the game after an offseason break.

It's amazing that the PS version from 2019 is still far superior in some aspects than what the "USA" game is offering. Anyone who owns PYS knows what I mean...

I just wish I could get past the language barrier. I tried a version several years ago, but it just wasn't fun having to translate everything. I certainly understand why they don't want to spend money with an English version, but I wish they found a willing partner to market the game in the US.

Re: Pro Yakyuu Spirits 2020

I purchased this game from Japan on E-bay.

Took about 3 weeks to come in.

It's been a couple of days, but have yet to try to play it, and i am sure this question has been asked and probably answered before.

How are you people getting around the language barrier and is there a tutorial or patch to help play this as a non-Japanese speaking player?

Thank you!
