Your First NBA Game!! What was it?

My first NBA game was Bulls vs Blazers, I loved that the game had signature moves.

Willie Anderson & Sean Elliott!! Remember them well on that game! I used to be the Knicks alot & having a player like Ewing, you really had to "imagine" you were posting up.

Live 95 was the big one for me! I remember reading a review in GameFan magazine about how realistic it was!! You could pass out of a shot which was new. I think it was the game where you heard a voice yell "three" after a 3 pointer. I actually liked when Live had those soundtracks by that in house guy. Name escapes but they were cool sort of hip hop instrumentals.

I remember popping in Magic's Fastbreak in after Magic's 1991 retirement press conference & crying my eyes out! I thought he'd be gone in a few weeks!! Thankfully wrong there!

It was a game called: NBA. It was for the Commodore 64, by Avalon Hill. It had twenty of the greatest teams of all time, four teams from the 85-56 season, since it was released in 87. The best NBA simulation I have ever played. Damn, I wish they have a BB text-sim for the Mac.

first NBA game was the Bird vs Jordan game.

first NBA Live game was NBA Live '95 for Sega Genesis.

Then everything changed with this game.........



Then everything changed again with this game.......



Then everything REALLY changed with this game.......



But then...........everything I knew up until the year 1999 was thrown out the window with this........and BBall gaming would never be the same.....








Sidenote: I really thought things were starting to change with this........





But that didn't happen and were still here counting down the days untill this.........

Bulls Vs Lakers. Had the Charles Barkley Gorilla dunk from the free throw line. It was so cheap. I remember being a little kid trying to figure out what "Fa-tih-goo" meant (fatigue)
