Re: DDS College Basketball 22 Career Thread

Just wrapped up season one with Southern Utah, started 6-0 but finished 15-16, so overall not a great season. Really young team, only one senior. Also had two reserves transfer post-season, not a major loss.

Brought in two solid PF/C transfers, one who was a 30 game starter at Utah Valley, and the other was a reserve with good ratings at Hartford. My one recruit was a 2 star, and a redshirted a PG so the team now has a ton of depth and experience. Brought in a former HC at another program as an assistant in an effort to boost our defense (one of the bottom 50 in the NCAA last year). Offense was good; but we simply didn't rebound or play defense.

Primarily run a High-Pace Princeton offense and that seems to work for us to "score" but there are games where we simply suck at shooting and cannot compete.

Loving this game as a whole, and enjoy feeling a "part" of the college atmosphere again.

Re: DDS College Basketball 22 Career Thread

I'll get more details when I'm back on the PC playing my next game, but my Radford team simply cannot find any consistency on the road which has led to a somewhat disappointing conference season as the out of conference play maybe set expectations slightly too big.

My team is something like 8-1 at home, but 8-8 on the road. We are top 30 in the country in FG% I believe, but some of these games on the road, we can't buy a bucket.

I didn't expect to do as well as I'm doing this season but I haven't had any injuries at all and I think my bench is overperforming. I just hope it isn't setting me up to be disappointed in March.

Re: DDS College Basketball 22 Career Thread

And just as soon as I talk about how well we're doing we suffer a loss and fall to 16-3(5-1)
Georgia defeats #3 Kentucky at Georgia, 69-55
We just played poorly. We didn't shoot well, had 18 turnovers, had guys in foul trouble, etc. 38.6% from the field, 28.6% from 3 and we didn't play the best defense. Georgia was 49% from the field and had only 11 turnovers.
Next game is at South Carolina (11-7)(2-4) Kentucky is a 1.5 point favorite
