It is better, but I wouldn't say it's a whole new ball game. The gameplay is just as arcady and fun as the original. It's definitely more fun to play w/ friends, as the single player does get a little drawn out.

I can't play it on Xbox Live, because it's a Final Beta. I have to play the game on my debug Xbox, which will not go online unless I get some sort of special account, which I don't have.

Thanks!
Yes, if you go into EA Trax, you can deselect the songs you don't want to hear.

It depends on the level. It's a lot easier to hot spot on the easier levels, IMHO.

There are quite a few new plays in the playbook. 32 to choose from on defense and 64 on offense.

Re: Beta NFL Street 2 Impressions

Hey Steve, I really don't have any questions just want to say thanks for providing us some information.

Well I do have a few questions:

1. Is the LB God Sack still in the game? Not sure if you know about thsi but if you line up behind the DT and just before the snap you move over to your right or left next to the DL guys, you will be able to go right through the guy and sack the QB. Works 100% of the time in NFL Street. The other LB Sack play (Roadkill) where you control the LB and go to the side and blitz from the side. Sack every time as the OL can't seem to get you. Just wondering if thats still there or not?

2. Out of all the players in the game who do you think are the best DBs, DLs, and LBs in the game? Its all about D for me :P.

Thanks again.

Well, maybe they have the retail version and it has changed. But on my "Final Beta" which is basically the retail version, I don't see it. You can check and uncheck the songs you want to don't want to hear in the EA Trax menu, but I don't see anything w/ custom soundtracks. Ask him where he is seeing it.

In some games I see it, but it is an arcade game, you can't expect too much realism out of it.

I haven't tried any of those moves, but I'll look into it to see if it is indeed still a money defensive play.

Well, I haven't played many games w/ just the NFL players, but after creating myself and advancing through the city, I'm pretty much a stud.
