The fact that they mentioned a proprietary title has me hopeful for a generic pro football game.

NO EA won't be doing ESPN until 2007. Well 2006 but 2007 edition LOL.

I would love a fictional but customizable pro game. I think that game could be awesome, since they would have total freedom to do whatever they wanted when it came to gameplay and features. No constraints. Get some creative people working on it, and it could be killer.

The interesting thing is that all these exclusive licenses actually could end up stimulating innovation, rather than stifling it.

I'd like to see a USFL game (yea i know it would never ever happen since they'd never get the licenses to the old players but it would be great)
