Anybody actually play Football? (competitively)

I'm a year removed from my playing days at North Carolina Central University (Division II school in Durham, NC) where I played offensive tackle. Unfortunately, it got cut short during my third year (redshirt sophomore) when I fractured a vertebrae in my back on two separate occasions, in the middle of the season and during winter workouts, so I made the decision to hang it up for good. The timing couldn't have sucked worse though, because that was my first year as a starter too. I graduate in December, though, so it's not all bad.

Man thats too bad Wsv that things didn't go well. Well lately I've been getting a calls to play on this provincial rep team, last night I went out with my friend and we met with the coaches and checked out the team. Overall wasn't really that impressive seemed to be a lot of politics since they have all been playing together for a long time, I opted out of playing for them despite their Receiving coach being a former CFL Montreal Alouette, which they tried to woe me with. Didn't think there would be enough hands on teaching for me as it looked like they would be practicing plays the most, main goal is to get better as a player (going to University camp in the summer so thats when I'm expecting me to learn the most), so I'm sticking to a more less demanding spring league.

Use to play in select leagues across the GTA, and joining a mens league. I play SS, I've got a pretty big frame (225lbs) and I have okay height at 6'1.

My school's defense plays a 3-4 or 3-3 stack too. Are nose last year was undersized (lifted in 220 weight class) but was all over the field and is off to Tulsa to play LB (his true position) with two other defensive players. We also have another former LB playing nose this year, though this one is a bit more stockier.

That's cool. Hopefully I can get a scholarship or a chance to play somewhere after high school.

I'd like to play in one of these eventually. I easily have the skill.

Same here I've never wanted anything so bad before, up here we have less schools but not a lot of players really want to play University ball let alone play in the CFL.
