Re: High School Football Playoffs

my school is 7-2 we are pretty good but not as good as last years 3AA semi finals team. although having 8 classifications in football is absolutely ridiculous. if we won state i would fee disatisfied cause its quite possible the 3A state champs could beat us. i dont like having so many damn teams in north carolina high school playoffs but if they wanted to double the amount of games then just make the field 64 teams instead of breaking the classes apart. it has ruined some rivalries to some extent.

Re: High School Football Playoffs

Cedar Hill High School is currently sitting at 6-3 (5-1) after a win against neighboring rival DeSoto High School that has allowed us to clinch our spot in the Texas 5A State Playoffs.

With a Duncanville loss either this week or next week and a win by us next we'll claim the district championship.

We'll be down in Edmotnon for quarters. We didn't get to have a home game this year because we have no field currently. And since we aren't in a league and are pretty much in the middle of no where we're on a bus every weekend(closest game would be Edmonton anyway and that's a five hour drive min. every weekend).

Just got back from Lethbridge where we played LCI(number 1 in the province) and got beat pretty handily 45-17. Their tailback was outstanding and they had excellent blocking up front. Not to mention being fairly physical.

Re: High School Football Playoffs

I coach for the Elyria High Pioneers (Elyria, Oh) and we just got into the playoffs for the first time in school history. Talk about being stoked up, we travel to Toledo this Saturday to play St.John Jesuit. Wish us luck.
