Madden's move to NBC has nothing to do with his name being allowed to be used by EA. ABC can't force anything in that regards.

EB had a poster just outside their store that said it is coming out in March.

Releasing an NFL game in June just doesn't make sense to me(besides the sales strategy pointed out above...)
With this game simply being a sim…..they will probably have plenty of space to an expansive roster of players…..even those who may not make rosters (like most 6th & 7th round picks)….also, roster updates are the norm now, so not much sense in waiting for Sept IMO.
