Although it is without a doubt, an outrageous and impossible idea, that would be such a badass game. Carthage Bulldogs are winning the Texas 3-A state title in '06!

It might can work, but only with generic teams. And like someone mentioned, have the ability to upload recruiting classes into NCAA. There was a football game 5 video game generations ago on the NES called Ten Yard Fight that had a original concept. You started off on the high school level, then moved to the college level, then to the pro level. All generic teams of course, but it was fun seeing how each level provided more difficulty to win games. I forgot the premise exactly since its been 16 years since I played it. I can't remember if the game's "dynasty" mode followed you as a coach or player or just as a series of progressions through the games difficulty levels.

That wasn't 10 yard fight though. There was a game that had HS, College and then pro, but I don't believe it was 10 yard fight. Think is was called Play Action Football or something like that. Actually I don't think it was Play Action FB... Just can't remember the name.
I do remember the gameplay was at an angle.

NAh it was Ten Yard Fight. It was the first game I ever owned for the NES, so obviously it's a game I'm not ever going to forget.

Actually it was. And to prove a point about the idea working there was another one (Which I can't remember the name) that also had HS through the Pro's. In the one I'm thinking of you just selected HS, College or Pro. You didn't progress through each one.

I'd play it if it were made again.

I definitely would not buy it. I don't follow high school sports at all.

Neat idea though for those that are interested.
