Palmer was drafted by the Al's but his rights were traded away to the Gades. The other 8 CFL teams were only allowed to pick 1 player off the Gades neg list and he wasn't taken.

I expect the Gades to comeback next season and make a run at Palmer as the starting QB.

Re: Seneca Wallace/Tim Couch

Why would Seneca Wallace give up his NFL career to play in the CFL?

The Seahawks have given Wallace a 1-year tender as a RFA but why would he go to the CFL? I doubt Wallace passes on his 1-year tender to play in the CFL.

Even though he'd still be the #2 QB for the Seahawks, he'd get a better chance to develop with NFL-quality players in practice and during garbage time.

I'm sure Wallace will play in the NFL for as long as theres a job for him. But I could see him out of work in 2-3 years, when his veterans minimum salary increases and teams dont see the point in signing him when there are rookies who can do the same thing for half the price.

Dude....do you SERIOUSLY think someone actually thought he was leaving the NFL for the CFL? You didn't really read this thread, did you?

All it means is that if Seneca Wallace EVER decides to go to the CFL, the Tiger Cats have his rights. It doesn't mean he ever WILL go. But IF he does, they have'em. They do this every year.

Like someone else said, a CFL team has the rights to Michael Vick, too. And ALSO like someone else said, the only time someone big ever actually did make the jump was Rocket Ismail.

Wake up, dude!
