Looking for Football playing advice badly...

First off I'm a 5'11 170 WR.

Well I'll be graduating this fall and my initial plan was to come back for a semester and play football...but I've been attending combines around the country and things have been going better than expected.

I've had a couple offers from schools here in Canada to play this fall but all offers in which I have to pay for. My number one choice is not one of them, if it was I think I'd go there immediately. I don't feel as confident going to play at University this fall as I would next year when I am able to get bigger, stronger, and faster.

But if I don't go somewhere this fall that means I'll be back at HS w/o a top QB like I had last year, and my coaches want me to play RB. I'm most definately not built for RB as I'm taller and built in the legs and don't have that upper body strength required. If I do decide to come back in the fall I'll be able to take part in All-Star games this June, thus gaining more exposure. I'm also risking injury coming back and having to face HS again when I technically don't have to anymore.

Anyways I feel like I'm at loose ends here, and I'm being pulled in two different directions...lately everything has been happening so fast and I just want to keep riding that high off to University this fall, but coming back to HS has some strong positives...but then again no QB? so my stock may drop. I'll also be playing Rep football so I guess it doesn't matter all that much if I have a bad HS year.

So heres my best stats from my combines:

40 - 4.48
Shuttle - 4.35
Broad Jump - 9'5

Let's see here...you're shorter than 6'0" and you run a 4.48, sounds to me like you're built for RB. You say you have better lower body strength than upper, that's all you need man. Good RBs can derive their power from all parts of the body, legs, torso, arms. Sometimes a position change is the best thing to ever happen for football players. Post your video and I can get a better idea, but without seeing it, sounds like you should come back and ask your coach to line you up at WR and RB. It benefits you and the team. It benefits the team because you're a wildcard that's hard to gameplan for, and it benefits you because it displays your flexibility to change positions fluently and still produce. But please post a highlight video!
