Ricky Williams fractures arm

Wow, didn't look that serious at first, Jeff Johnson in relief looked a hell of a lot better than Williams has all year. Did anyone see that hit on Wynn as well? And Eric Crouch getting his first action at QB since playing for Nebraska, interesting game all in all.

Crouch looks like he could be a very good CFL QB if he's given the opportunity.

Crouch's numbers:

4/9, 117 yards with 3 rushes for 32 yards (long of 20)

It looks like Wynn suffered a concussion so if Allen can't play next week I have a feeling Crouch will be starting.

Williams really hasn't lived up to the hype, and just proves to people the differences between the Canadian and American game. Is Ricky going to be back at all this year?

It is pretty clear that the CFL is designed for fast, quick backs who can catch the ball well. Ricky has decent speed, quickness and hands but isn't elite in any of those areas. Its his power when combined with his quickness that makes him NFL elite. The ability to wear down defenses is very important in the NFL and almost useless in the CFL.

I was telling everyone on this board before he signed; the CFL is a scatback league. I love how everyone automatically assumed Ricky was going to break the CFL rushing record.
