2006 High School Football Season

With high school games kicking off tonight, I figured it'd be kinda cool to see how your high school or former high school was doing throughout the year, and you could post in this thread.

I got to thinking when I saw a preview on the news about Friday Night Football, and it weirded me out because I realized that when I was a senior in high school, the seniors on this years team were in 8th grade. It seems like it's gone way too fast.

My highschool (Briarcrest) plays White Station tonight. I haven't gotten a score yet.

Last Saturday, my boys lost to White Station 38-12.

Jeff Link, QB of White Station, went 11 of 18 for 253 yards and FIVE touchdowns.

Re: 2006 High School Football Season

Canton High School (Michigan) played for the state championship last year for the first time in school history.

I graduated in 1998 and my senior year we went 1-8 got the coach fired and they brought in this new guy who has turned the team around. 3 years to get into the playoffs I believe.

Well my school is playing an exhibition game against Francis Parker 5a or class 5 state champs in Cali last year(whichever division is lowest in California) on September 1st. The real season kicks off on the 6th when we head to Edmonton to play Harry Ainley.
