Farewell to the Don: Mathews stepping down in MTL

TSN Article

Wow!

I think we'll have to wait a couple weeks or so for the smoke to clear to find out if it's TRULY health problems or if he's stepping down mainly because Montreal has been underperforming this year.

Either way, if it's truly health problems then this is a sad way for one of the greatest coaches in CFL history to leave the game. He has been one of my favourite football coaches of all time and I admire the guy.

Don Matthews is a hard *** but he's one of the best in CFL history.

Hopefully his health problem is nothing too serious.

It's only a matter of time before he coaches again.
