NFL Fever 2004

I was thinking about getting this game at eb for $4, just wondering from the people who played it if it is any good? Any places where i could get sliders and updated rosters?

Let me break this down for you:

The Good

The Music, The replys, career mode, passing game, making your own player, options, overall gameplay, AI level. Being able to save anytime you want and come back later

Note: You dont need sliders to play this game, the game gives you a challenge even on the easy level, a big improvement over 2003.

The Bad:

Not being able to unlock teams and stuff like in 2003
Not enough cut scenes
The graphics looks sharper then 2003, but not by much
The game needs more animation
The timer in gameplay is too slow, sometimes i like , why am i not in the 3rd Q yet?

Bottom line:

Buy its, its cool. Playing career mode/destiny mode is alot of fun. As for updated rosters, i doubt it.

If you like Football games, fever 2004 is a definitel keeper. It has many features that games today still lack. Definitely worth the purchase for "Read & Lead" alone plus everything else, Monk....

Re: NFL Fever 2004

This game's quite a bit of fun...you should be able to find it for even cheaper...the GameStop website has it down to 99 cents, which is a can't miss price. I got mine for 2 bucks last year and it's a good game. Read and lead passing is really cool (this alone justifies the purchase), and the game had quite a bit of potential. The series could have developed into something really good if it had continued.
