Heading into camp, he's probably the favorite to backup Jason Mass.

Did he get injured or something? He started as a second year guy, led the Bucs to the NFC chip, and was never heard from again.

I've always wondered why he didn't start again after that year. If the bucaneers didn't get screwed by the refs he would've been in the Superbowl.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

He actually was a rookie when the Bucs went to the NFC Championship game, and was only the starter because Trent Dilfer got hurt. The following year he started, they won like 10 games, and then lost in the Wild Card round. In 2001 they signed Brad Johnson and Shaun King was sent to backup duties. Remember, at the time Brad Johnson was a big free-agent catch. Then, Jon Gruden came in but he wasn't a fan of King. He was released after 2003.

Then, he played one season with the Cardinals, backing up Josh McCown. Then he was brought in witht he Colts in like 2006, but didn't make it through the pre-season.

Then, like Hungry said, he played some in the AFL, I think for like two months.

I was always a fan of King, but he was undersized, didn't have a good arm, and some decent mobility.

Shaun King while a nice guy from everything i've seen just doesn't have the tools to be a CFL QB.
