For People with both APF 2k8 and NCAA FB 08

APF2k8

I used to be the biggest NCAA fan, but I've been playing 90% 2k8.....I can barely stand to play NCAA right now. It's tough to explain what it is, but 2k8 just plays so real, all the little animations, the different strategy involved in each game. Love the running game.

If you are going to play online and only want one game, get 2k8. You won't run into as many cheesers and you play a completely different team every time, no two teams will be exactly alike.

Neither. All Pro Football needs a year of polishing and once again EA laid an egg and NCAA blows.

Hoping Madden is good, but if not, NHL 08 should be great.

After playing both games more, it's no contest. APF whips NCAA as a football SIM. To me that is most important, APF does the game of football much better. Football is a rhythm game and APF captures that.

I love how when someone says they like APF nothing is said about them, maybe amen, agreed, or something like that.

BUT

When someone says that they like EA they get attacked for being a fanboi and they get flamed and all kinds of stuff.

I dont care if I get an infraction or get kicked off, on vacation from the threads as DAVE says WHO CARES. You 2K fans need to grow up. If someone likes something other than what you like stop being an *** and let it go.

I like both equally but since I play NCAA way more I voted for NCAA.

I like both about the same as well. Both have their strong points. NCAA seems more reactionary and plays faster to me. Some of the animations are awesome and it has franchise mode. 2k8 has better online play and the players seem to have more life to them. Some of the added controls add to the fun factor and the graphics are a little bit better overall imo. Some of the animations are the best, but others are kind of lacking and the control placement can be tricky at times. I think both games are solid 8's this year. I didn't vote because i think they both have their strong points. It's tough because I can't decide which one i want to really focus on playing, and the controls are different enough where if i play them both i wont get the most enjoyment out of either.
