Anyone else mad about no Arena Football Game?

So EA buys the license to AFL. Last year, they produce a last gen game with the only significant upgrade over the previous version being the addition of af2 games.

This year EA decided to follow that up with no game at all. I know it is en vogue to hate EA for all their crap with the NFL license and for their attempt to buy out their last competitor in the football arena (Take Two) but to buy a license and then just sit on it? To me, that is even worse.

I realize the AFL is small potatoes compared to the NFL but to not allow anyone else to make a game and then to not make one yourself to me seems worse than what they did with the NFL games.

Being a fan of all football games, what they did with Madden is horrible. Clearly NFL 2k5 and APF are better gameplay wise. Buy liscenses just so another company cant have it. Tonya Harding, excuse me EA is horrible. Sorry, ever since Madden 05 their games have sucked.

So is the second Arena game worth picking up? Any specific points yay or nay?

I have a feeling that they may be going the Head Coach route with this one and are going to seriously upgrade it and probably bring it to next gen...or at least that's what I'm wishing. I've always liked AFL and I know that if somehow I ever got to play pro football that would be the only league I'd ever make it in haha. But this game did interest me when it first came out but I never picked it up.
