Re: Front Page Sports: Football Pro

I was involved in a great FPS Football Pro 98 league called the SPFL (Stock Play Football League). We played the games live online, using (appropriately enough) only stock plays. I remember having a ton of fun with this game...but the big problem was the occasional out of sync error. I remember someone typed up this long step-by-step guide on what to do if you encounter the error and how to resume the game online. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. But it was so much fun being a part of.

Re: Front Page Sports: Football Pro

Has anyone beside me taken those old disc and installed them on like a pentium. The game runs like a lambo. I wished for like 5 years that they would release a college edition. Since they didnt i had to make my own with what i thought was the best 28 teams in the country. I thought the depth of that game was way ahead of its time.

I think I owned every version (was Marino on the cover of the last?). There were a ton of great roster files out there and I remember in the first version in the season mode you could watch highlights of every game on the schedule. Those were the days.
