I've watched it in slow motion and there are new ball animation physics when the ball is tipped on a pass, the ball is wobbly. The same awesome break tackle and taking the right angles to gain extra yardage gameplay intact. I had more fun watching this video than playing a football videogame in the past 4 years! Tecmo Bowl is back baby and looking better than ever and the new cinema sreens, damn there sexy. I've waited over ten years for a true sequel to my alltime favorite game and the wait is almost over. September can't come soon enough! And we get a Wii version, awesomeness overload!

It says a lot about the state of football gaming when people are getting excited over a straight SNES port with fake players, fake teams, no career mode and the exact same old playbooks. I love TSB as much as anyone but this ought to be on XBL Arcade for 800 points instead of masquerading as a fully fledged (and fully priced) game.

It was on NES, not SNES. I think it'll be worth the $20, though.

It was on both actually. The best version is the newest rom hack that bumped the NES version up to 32 teams and allows you to change plays in the middle of the game.

Yeah... that ROM basically makes this game unnecessary unless you just really want something to do on your DS. Last I heard that guy was also working on weather effects and there was some talk of attempting to get 2pt conversions into it at some point.

The one that would be a 'straight port' would be the NES one, though.

Most Tecmo fans I think would rather believe that the SNES and PSX ones didn't exist

And this game is necessary because it is legal and I'd rather play it on a handheld than my computer
