I agree. I'm totally down for a rock-paper-scissors version of football with some wild twists thrown in. That's what Tecmo is. It doesn't need to be much more than that. More depth leads to more problems sometimes....

One factor that really separated the game was 100% fun. Nobody argued "realistic" this or that. It was just a fun game to play that somewhat resembled football. Nostalgia alone isn't giving me fond memories of this game. It was that good.

Come out, come out where ever your are Tecmo Bowl fans. This is what I'm talking about when I say the legacy that is Tecmo Bowl. When we can get people talking about a game that was first released in 89' you know you have something special. The one thing that every Temo Bowl fan can agree on and say was the game was pure fun which is what made it so addicting. Straight video game crack! There's your catch slogan Tecmo, you can thank me later, lol.
