True that. To me, they only need to make minor adjustments to the original game.

Those are:
NG dive (if present on SNES version).

Playclock (can't let online guys walk away from teh game or refuse to snap in a rage).

A clear assessment of the opponent's team (We need this because otherwise kids will roll with maxed out squads and ranked matches would be very hit/miss).

Either someone at Gameshot is very uninformed and shouldn't be commenting on a football game or EA has bought Tecmo and kept it a damn good secrect. Since there are no secrets like that in business we have a case of someone being uninformed. I'll be ready to give this a whirl when it drops. Nothing like the old days of all nighters with friends as a kid playing through a season together.

Yeah, LOL, I thought that when I typed it, however I believe names can be used outside of their sport without fear of a lawsuit since it's a different sport. I say that because I recall some of the "fake" names back in the heyday of my youth being cross-sport like the example of the Atlanta Hawks/Falcons issue.

I think you're right about the Dallas Texans, it'd never be that anyways because of the real Texans. It'd probably be something like the Dallas Cowpokes or the Dallas Rangers, something like that.

According to the interview thread, we will have NFL teams.. just hidden in a layer of different names. The ratings will be from the '93 TSB game I believe.
