I'm proud to announce Weekend Warriors Pro Football, SimNation's only pro football sim and a joint venture with Weekend Warriors College Football.
We're going to have a 32 team modern day setup with a unique backstory. All rookies going forward will be imported into the game from WWCF. There will be more on the backstory in the coming days. The initial players will be a result of some pre-simmed history, and there won't be any real players in the league.
The league website is
http://www.wwpf.us. There isn't much there right now, but the basic layout is there as well as links to sample pages. None of the players, teams, leagues linked to on the site are representations of what we'll be starting with on day one. They're just tests. The rules page is active and all who are interested should review these rules.
So, what do you do if you'd like to join?
Send me a PM with your Name, email address, and top 3 team choices. There will be a list of available teams in the WWPF forums
The target start date is May 9th, so that we can keep pace with WWCF.
Watch the WWPF forums for more details as they come, and feel free to discuss all aspects of the league, including rules there. I want to make sure this is an enjoyable experience for all the GMs in the league as well as myself and others that are helping to run the league.
