For me it's still 2k5, but Madden has really improved a lot the last 2 years.

Not to hijack this thread, but what does Madden 10 do that Madden 11 doesn't do? I could at least understand the "it's the same game as last year" argument, because it looks the same even though I don't feel like it plays the same. But 11 does everything that 10 does and does most of it better.

I've heard this a few times and it baffles me.

I guess these questions mean 'when they came out' rather than 'what would you rather play right now'.

I think Tecmo Superbowl was the best but wouldn't play it now.2k5 is next but I've gotten to the point that right now Madden '11 is the better option.

Madden has alot more people holding unreasonable expectations against it.I want a little more in franchise too but think that the past two years have been very acceptable in progressing the series.

Round 3, Ill throw those and take off the bottom ones here. I usually make one every year, so it will have Backbreaker 2 and madden 12 as well.

Im not into ncaa games personally. I just dont enjoy college. To be honest, I had no idea so many here liked those games. I was going to make this nfl only titles, but thought with the success of NCAA 11, I should include it.

Thx for letting me know about ncaa 04, and 06's popularity, Ill make sure its on the next round.

i just thought the FEEL of the game in 2010 was better, i've only played a few games of 11, against a buddy of mine who has the game, one game after 6 possessions the score was 21-21, and each possession was a few plays long with HUGE runs and HUGE passes. i understand that many people have had success with sliders, but from that experience it is definitely not worth me putting any more time into. madden 11 added what they call locomotion, but to me madden 10 felt more like football and madden 11 felt more like a videogame *niether of which are close to the feel of APF IMO*

i understand that statement was 100% opinion but thats why i asked those of you who enjoy madden 11 what it is you like

A slider set which makes it playable. Do a search for Bill harris' Madden 10 sliders. This year he said he couldn't get a playable set because the DB's are broken. And I'm not touting Madden 10 because I dont play it, but give it a shot with those slider fixes if you want.

Besides the new version the glory years for NCAA were 2003 through 2008 (with 07 & 08 being PS2 or XBOX only because the next gen versions were pretty bad.) My guess it the "best of the best" will fall somewhere between 2004-2006.
