Re: XFL

I saw a few games and it was dumb. I watched the championship game with my friend and it was hilarious. They were fumbling and dropping balls all over the place.

Re: XFL

You guys gotta figure in that it was the FIRST SEASON. A lot of these players, were players who were prolly out of football for a couple years....and they saw this opportunity and jumped. Also, another thing I loved was the LOW salaries. It kept people playing for the game, not the monetary rewards.

Ah yes...the league that gave us "He Hate Me" It was pretty cool but I knew it'd never work.

Re: XFL

If nothing else, they should have had Sunday morning/afternoon games. Having the games at the freaky hours of the night just wasn't "football time". If they started a week after the Super Bowl, and had games on Sundays or Monday nights, guys would still be in football mood. But no...they had to be totally idiotic and have their games on Friday and Saturday night or something bizarre, where guys would rather go do something else.

Re: XFL

it was ok to watch sometimes, but others it was just painful. You could tell that the skill level wasn't quite there, and watching players make a lot of mistakes wasn't a ton of fun to me. I like football, but not hardcore enough to like the XFL or World League I guess

Re: XFL

The only two good players to come out of the XFL is Maddox and Avery. The CFL is a million times better............

...and the only reason why Maddox is good now is because a CFL coach who's very good with QBs was his head coach there.
