NFL Street franchise return

With the recent release of NFL Blitz I started thinking about the past arcade football games. I really wonder why EA never pushed their NFL Street franchise. I really enjoyed the first two. The third took a step back but if they improved it I think it would be great on the next gen consoles. I never played Blitz until the trial was released and I was not impressed. There really aren't any running plays? How about we take out the extra point and field goals too. Oh wait.. I realize it is and arcade title but those are pretty important elements to football. I was just wondering if anyone else would like if they released another NFL Street. It could be an arcade title or maybe a retail game. What do you guys think?

Why would you expect running plays? There are extra points and field goals. (?)

EA Sports will bring back the Street franchise, but there's no need to do so for at least a year since they're behind this new Blitz (and it appears to be selling well). We're more likely to get an "On Fire"-like edition of this though - with all the obvious and glaring omissions in the current version. EA knows how to get our money twice (+) and is doing so.

There are run plays in Blitz, just not the traditional handoffs.

You can QB sneak up the middle or off tackle.

Or you can call one of the many plays where you pitch the ball to a player in the backfield immediately after the snap.

There's a also a play that works like an end around (Uppercut).
