I wish there was a mod to improve the in-game playcalling. This game would be amazing.

Yea..same here. It has got much better for me. Knowing what players are weak in certain areas help a lot. For instance, I have started rotating my DE during pass situations. Also, try and stay away from the plays sets that don't give a bonus (i.e. spread - Neg bonus).

This has helped a lot.....but yea...still could use a mod to adjust some of the things the CPU does...even if I am the correct formation/play. Also, they need to come up with something that tells you when players get tired. You really don't know unless he isn't in the game or you go and look at every player.

Hello everybody. Love these sorts of games. Sadly BBCF and FOF isn't up to date. Thinking about getting BBCF or FOF: College, or PFS... what do you guys think?
Read a lot of review and threads. Here's my take...

BBCF: Their developer was quoted as saying they were making a new pro game. Seems like that would go with BBCF (import draft classes). I've heard this game is the most accurate for on-field play...maybe not recruiting. Almost surely will download demo sometime as this is my top choice right now.

PFS: This is pro. Always developer. Probably will be the big dog one day in this genre for American football. Heard you can import stuff from BBCF? Does this work well? Is it fun? I don't really know any details of that. Aside from that..this game seems pretty cool.

FOF: College- Best recruiting tools I've heard. Not as much fun on the field. Does this import into PFS? I'm leaning away from this one. But I haven't looked into it too much.

FOF: On their forum, their developer has said that it won't be until at least 2013 for another game due to new board game and his personal life. That being said, it looks like an okay game. Most up-to-date at 2010 (besides from PFS). Does FOF: College import into FOF?

Not sure what to do. Any other information I should know? Thanks.

Also, for anyone who doesn't know about Pigskin Empire...you should. Pretty good game. Big learning curve, but can be immensely fun. Has it's problems and is very different from these games. It's free. Start out as a OC, DC, or STC under real human HCs. College and Pro. I recommend it

^^^It sucks that we dont have more options as far as an up to date product goes.

PFS is apparently on ice for now because Brooks is working on 3 other projects at the moment. So we will not see any updates for that game for awhile I assume.

I have no idea, he recently posted on his site that he has 3 projects he's working on. I don't think its related to Barcode games but I could be wrong.
