Well, obviously we wont see it on this gen consoles, because xbox 720 is launching this year and ps4 will be soon to follow. i think well see a coupple new football games besides Madden for the next gen consoles. So, id be guessing next fall is the most likely. As long as EA looses its court battle which it should, I dont see why 2K wouldnt want to get back into football with the recent successes they have had in their other sports franchises

There's no pending litigation that I'm aware of off threatening Madden, and if they lose the NCAA related one then nobody will probably pick that up for that reason.

It seems as if 2k isn't above releasing a roster update and calling it a new game if their latest iteration of MLB is any guide. Just spruce up APF2k8 throw current rosters on the game and it will eat Madden's lunch with no problem.

It would be awesome if they took APF2K8 and turned it into a NCAA game. I would buy it.

I would love it if they teamed up with the new USFL, personally. I mean, I love the NCAA, but with only 8 teams it'd be a lot easier and cheaper probably to get the rights.
