I got an SNES from a yard sale yesterday and that's acting up also. Lol Don't know if I've just got bad cables or what. The SNES played for a few minutes then the screen went black. I've read that there are some issues booking these old systems up to modern TVs sometimes.

Your best option for video output on a Super Nintendo is S-Video.

You can get a S-Video cable for $5 on Amazon.

You know one thing I like, despite the low stats, if I'm playing 5 min quarters then the rest of the league seems to play the same quarter length so we're on a level playing field statistically
