Here's a question to bake your noodle...

Here's a question to bake your noodle... what if....

...what if 2k had been putting out an NFL game all this time as well. And lets say just for reference it was the true 360 and PS3 versions of the NFL 2k franchise... and lets say they price tagged their game at 59.99 and that same year, Madden sold for 19.99...

which game would you buy?

Re: Here's a question to bake your noodle...

I moved this post out of the class-action lawsuit thread into the Madden forum into its own thread because it strikes me as a legitimate question. However, 2K football by-and-large is not allowed in the Madden forum.

Carry on.

The one that was better. It's that simple and any other answer is pure fanboy.

So the one that more people buy is better?

The TV show that more people watch is the best?

The movie that sells more tickets is the best?

I would buy 2k. Madden just doesn't feel right. I've given every Madden a try on this generation and it just doesn't feel like I'm playing football. It looks pretty up until it comes time to run a play.

Re: Here's a question to bake your noodle...

I don't think this one is a difficult question. The reason the 19.99 price tag worked for 2K5 was to get people who would usually never give any football other than Madden a second look a reason to give 2K5 a chance. I had played every Madden game since 1993 and had no desire to play any other version of NFL football. Once I gave 2K5 a try I immediately fell in love with the simulation aspects that I didn't even realize were missing from Madden. I don't think with the proliferation of Youtube and Metacritic that this scenario will have a chance of playing itself out once again.

Long story short, I would buy the game that had better simulation aspects, which would probably be the 2K title.

First of all, LOL at the title of this thread. LOL.

But yeah, I prefer 2k so I would rather pay $60 for that game than $20 for Madden.

Bake my noodle...LOL. Not boil, not stir fry, but bake. LOL LOL LOL....
