Now that EA is done with collage football just wanted to see what others thought about the idea of 2k taking over? We'd have an option for a different football game for once and just the idea of NCAA 2k14 would get me to buy it. I honestly think 2k could push that series past madden right now. Thoughts??

Didn't the 2k guys make a NFL game years back and it was a decent game but still nothing compared to madden. I would love to see them take a shot though cause I love the NCAA games way more than Madden

i like the fact that people remain optimistic but it doesnt seem likely to me at this point. ea dropped from the series becuase of the lawsuit ongoing with the ncaa. it wouldnt matter if ea, 2k, sony, microsoft, or midway did an ncaa game rite now. they still would have to compensate the players or go a different route. besides, just because 2k is strong in one game, we dont know how well it will be such as cfb 2k3. i love college football too much to not have an option, and being a college student myself and beating my school every season makes me a bit happy. the only thing at this point is to just play 14 til we get anything

Honestly I think 2K is just worried about NBA and WWE at the moment

those are their 2 main focuses

I'm definitely for this. I never cared much for EA just because I feel that the developers favor Madden and leave NCAA less liked. More half a$$ed made compared to Madden's gameplay, animations, graphics, etc. As long as A similar or better TeamBuilder feature is included. TeamBuilder is mainly the reason why I purchase NCAA. Just to relive memorable high school games/rivalries in the Ohio Valley.

The NCAA has no intention of signing a deal. NCAA and CLC (I think is the body name) is more standing in the way than EA for this. They don't want another mess like they just had.

Yeah, 2k isn't making this game for all the same reasons EA isn't.

Actually many people here think that not only was 2k far better than the Madden of the time, but that 2K5 is better than Madden 14.
