I made this video the other day and thought I'd share with you all.

It actually is an enjoyable game.

I watched the first 8 minutes of this vid... does anyone have that app that lets you get life's wasted minutes back?

It wasn't a great game, it had its moments, but it wasn't a great game. That said, it coming from a tiny developer, even tinier than Natural Motion at the time BackBreaker was made, I respect the effort and the boldness to try something like this.

I watched the first half of this video. The problem looks to be the control when running. You are able to turn on a dime too fast and this looked to be on an easy setting where he was just running free from the CPU defense. However, then passing game looked very solid and fun. The line-play looks pretty good in that video too, like on that one play where the D-lineman had the swim move and got the sack. I didn't play this one, but I did own the original BCFX on PC which was released in 2007, which was pretty good.

This Doug Williams Edition on the console is a huge graphical improvement from that game. In this one, the player models look a bit more exaggerated. And there are obvious clipping issues. For those that have the Doug Williams Edition, are there settings to get better gameplay and more realistic running?

It played more like a Dreamcast football game than what you would expect from an Xbox 360 football game.

But a lot of that has to do with the fact that it was the first console game from a small independent developer.

The company that made it, Nerjyzed Entertainment, ran into a ton of financial problems shortly after releasing the game.

I don't know if they are even still around as a company, but as of 2010, they were not paying their employees, and their were dealing with issues from their investors:

Such a shame. It was a really decent football game for a first outing; I really wish the development team would have had a chance to output a second effort.

I really wasn't trying to knock it, hell we need more companies finding loopholes out of the NFL exclusive deal and just bringing us a well built game, with great gameplay & customization. I stress great gameplay, I took a 2nd closer look and I like the line play and it seems the AI on both sides of the ball are smart (unlike Madden & ncaa AI who are dumb as rocks) but it seems there are glaring glitches. Either way I respect the effort to try and bring us something other than the fatally flawed EA sports football games.
