With Joe Montana Football not coming out on console (anytime soon), this could be our only opportunity to have another franchise on Next Gen for quite some time. The game is old, but there is no denying it still has some of the best gameplay featured in a football simulation.

I'm actually surprised why they haven't mentioned any news of it (apart from not having the license). When they first released the football games, I don't think they had any popularity. Now that consumers know how fun and immersive of a basketball game they could make, they already have their name up there for a top sports game developer.

Right, their name alone brings integrity and quality that most people expect to get from them. There is no need to go out getting individual license for retired players. Just need the right advertisement plan. I think it would be smart if the gave to the masses especially casual gamers a survey of what they wanted to see in their football games

I just put up a Tread asking everyone that are fans of 2K do they think 2K will get the license because now we know all this time it's on 2K to just go pay what the NFL is asking and put the pressure on. I mean I can y they didn't get it before now because they just might not have had what the NFL was asking for the license.But now that 2K has had the market in Basketball for years now we as fans should b rewarded with ESPN 2K Football 17...
