Nope because the NFL ALWAYS goes to EA first when the agreement ends. And EA will always renew it.

I'm thinking because 2K hasn't made the effort to meet them on wanting to get it done. I mean exclusively means only one or only the one that is willing to pay what's asked for the license. Well that settles that then.

2K is not going to purchase the license. 2K football is dead and not coming back. People keep hoping but the fact is they have no strategic plans to make another football game now or in the future.

They are not partners with anyone else in creating a game as well...no matter what you may have read.

Don't get me wrong, I loved 2K5...in fact I created over 100 classic teams for it and played it exclusively for years.

But the truth about 2K and their involvement with a football title has to sink in with everyone at some point. They are not making a football game soon and have no plans or interest in doing so.

He was goaded into saying that from hiphopgamer. That was all over a year ago, though.

Unles the NFL has another business model other than exclusiveness, EA is here to stay.
