SSG College Football - Real Time Sim League

SSG College Football has just released its first league file to commence with the start of college football training camp. Like all leagues at SSG, we are a real-time sim league and we'll be using BBCF.

SSG College Football is the second of a series of leagues starting in 2015 to simulate an entire world of simulated sports in conjunction with one another (even such things as crossover athletes).

The schedule, reports, available teams, and application can all be viewed on the site. We're continuing to take applications until the first 40 spots are filled (Big Ten, Pac 12, SEC), and after that, we'll look to expand.

The regular season kicks off Saturday, September 5th with rivalry week happening during the Thanksgiving weekend. Of course, we'll be using a tournament to decide our National Champion each year.

The league file is a 2015 mod of the 2014 mod from JaCeLo3 at the GDS forums, and now even has the proper placements for the tournament games for the 2015 season, proper payouts, and many other tweaks I've personally made to best reflect the 2015 season and beyond.

We're also in the process of finalizing a BBCF to FOF player converter, thanks to FOFC's Groundhog, making it the first ever FOF-connected league to track our college players into the pro's when we start our coordinating NFL league using FOF.

With the AWESOME news that Grey Dog has released a 2015 patch which even includes a 4-team playoff, the SSG College Football league has started over (we were only a few weeks into training camp!).

We just uploaded our new league file, and week 1 of training camp gets simmed Wednesday at 12pm noon ET. Our first games will be played September 5th to coincide with the actual NCAA FB season.

Today we advanced past the budget/scouting service stage, and due to our quick "Cool we got a patch, but now we need to get caught up to our original schedule," we will advance to the offensive and defensive philosophies stage tomorrow.
