Which Franchise mode will be better, Madden or ESPN?

I would like to read your opinion on which franchise mode is going to be better.

I think they're just about equal. Notably, ESPN has its weekly-prep thing and Madden has storyline central.

Can't go wrong with both games IMO.

Maddens franchise mode is better because of the owner mode and Story line central.

The franchise modes for both games sound really good, but I have a feeling Madden's is going to turn out a little bit better. The ESPN/2K series hasn't topped Madden in that area yet, and while it looks like they improved it a lot, I don't think they're quite there yet. I can't wait to give both games a try though.

I have to agree except for 2003 madden has a had the better franchise mode and in 04 there was a BIG difference in franchise modes. this year espn has added weekly prep but that seems like it could get really boring after awhile but SLC and the way its being intergrated into the owner mode seems really cool.

Madden's. There is nothing like moving your team and creating a brand new one, not to mention having the computer move and creating new teams to play against. The storyline central will just add to the greatness. I don't know what it is about ESPN's franchise, but I could just never get into it. The weekly prep thing looks cool, but it looks to tedious to have to do that every week.

I can't comment on ESPN's cause I haven't read up on it much, but with owner mode and the weekly storylines and newspapers, I have a feeling I'm going to be satisfied with Madden.

Won't really know until the games come out. Last year Madden's was better. But this year remains to be seen. ONe thing that we know Madden will still hold the edge on is the ability to import real college players.
