Could 2K Sports make a XFL football game for 2020?

The league is set for it's relaunching in 2020. Considering 2k already has a relationship with Vince McMahon is it possible they would toss there hat back into the football game arena? I would imagine it would be a mutual investment between both parties if it came to fruition. 2 years is enough time to revamp All Pro Football's engine. What do you think are the possibilities of such a game?

I think it makes sense in a lot of ways. Will it happen? Probably not.

Sure they could. Probably wouldn't be a wise financial move until the (yet-to-be-officially-announced) XFL establishes any sort of legitimacy, though - the league certainly has notoriety for its association with Vince McMahon, but no one ever actually took the XFL seriously.

That said, while we're speaking in hypotheticals, EA buying the exclusive rights to the XFL to corner the market on licensed football games is necessarily in the universe of possible outcomes as well. They've done it before.

Why would 2K spend millions of dollars to invest in a not even official football league run by the same guy whose last league lasted 1 year of actual play and only 2 years after inauguration.?

Considering the number of games that the NFL produces on a given week that are borderline unwatchable (for purely aesthetic reasons) for anybody without a rooting interest, does the XFL have any chance to produce good football?

To be fair, their first public push makes it pretty clear that "good football" is low on their priority list.

If they would put mini-tramps at strategic parts in the field, I would buy it......and I'm talking about in the real game as well!
