It isn't like they go down to SoCal and steal players away from Long Beach Poly or Bishop Amat or wherever and pay for them to move up here and live. Regarding the streak being broken, I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand, all the nationwide attention it has received the last few years is kind of cool to see since I have lived in the area my whole life. On the other, constantly hearing about it was getting pretty old. Reading about it in Sports Illustrated or seeing one of their games on ESPN is cool, but having 90% of the local newspaper's sports section taken up every single day during the season gets annoying after a while.

I work in Martinez. Work for Contra Costa County. It's a big enough thing that even the office lady's who barely know what football is talk about it...

yeah i meant 60 something. Chris Leak went there and lead em to 3 straight State titles in 4A. Now they got this QB in his 2nd yr Joe Cox whos all ready won one title and is back for more. He's probably the best QB in the state. They are just killing teams left and right.
