Which version? The original arcade-style game or The League? And why 26, specifically?

NFL Blitz is rated E 10+, which seems fair. Crunchy, arcadey hits are all, and they're just wacky fun. Blitz: The League games were rated M, and justifiably so. Bone-breaking and blood-spurting injuries, extreme vulgarity, drugs, many sexual references, etc. make it a dirty game, despite some over-the-top depictions.

I think 26 would be too high of an age, though. It's likely that a sizable portion of developers for that game may even be younger than that age in and of itself.

Heck, I was always hoping for a Blitz: The League movie.

Well you do get to stay on your parent's medical insurance until that age, so it makes some sense.

I could be wrong, but I believe that is the nationwide number after the Affordable Care Act was put into place.

In terms of brain development, your frontal lobe (controls rational decision making, long-term planning, emotional control, etc.) isn't fully developed on average until you turn 25.
