At the Great American Bash in June, Cena lost the WWE Championship to Ric Flair thanks to the New Authority. At Money in the Bank, Sting returned to side with Flair and cost Cena the Title rematch. Over the past couple weeks, Cena and Sting have been at each others throats.

Daniel Bryan(c) W/Shawn Michaels VS Roman Reigns

Roman defeated Daniel Bryan to qualify for Money in the Bank. At Money in the Bank Daniel Bryan cost Roman Reigns the Briefcase when he interfered pushing Reigns off the ladder allowing Bray Wyatt to win the Money in the Bank Contract. On the following Episode of RAW after beating Eddie Guerrero, Reigns called out Bryan who came out with his Manager Shawn Michaels. Bryan explained his actions stating that Reigns cost him his chance at the Money in the Bank Contract so he cost Reigns his chance. Reigns attempted to pick a fight against HBK and Bryan but Bryan blasted Reigns with his European Title. Reigns was then locked in the Yes Lock on the ramp. On the next Night on SmackDown Live Reigns challenged Daniel Bryan to a Match at SummerSlam for the European Championship which Bryan accepted.

Brock Lesnar(c) W/Paul Heyman VS Randy Orton

At Money in the Bank Lesnar defeated Randy Orton to capture the World Heavyweight Championship. Lesnar didn’t appear on the Monday Night RAW afterwards but his Advocate Paul Heyman addressed the WWE Universe only for former Champion Randy Orton to come out and RKO Heyman. Lesnar returned on the August 7th Monday Night RAW to announce at SummerSlam he would face Orton in a Suplex City Street Fight. He dropped Orton with a F5 afterwards.

CM Punk VS Mr. McMahon

At Extreme Rules, CM Punk retuned to the WWE costing Triple H the Championship Match against John Cena. On the next night of Monday Night RAW it was revealed that Punk was exclusively signed by Linda McMahon. Punk met Triple H at Great American Bash inside Hell in a Cell where he won. The next night on RAW Punk teamed with John Cena and Randy Orton in a losing effort against Triple H, Batista, and Ric Flair. On July Monday Night RAW Week 4 Punk defeated Batista but was ambushed from behind by Vince McMahon. Earlier in the night it was announced Punk would meet Vince and Shane at Money in the Bank in a Handicap Street Fight. On SmackDown Live July Week 4 in Ohio, Vince had Punk barred from the Arena. Punk snuck in after the Main Event ambushing the Authority. At Money in the Bank, Punk was defeated by Vince and Shane McMahon in a Handicap Street Fight thanks to assistance from Batista and Shawn Michaels. On the August Week 1 Episode of Monday Night RAW, Punk called out Mr. McMahon just for Triple H to come out and place Punk in a Street Fight with Batista. Punk claimed he wasn’t done with the Authority and beat Batista in a Street Fight. Punk continued his quest on the next night on SmackDown Live teaming with John Cena and Dean Ambrose against the New Authority which ended in a Double DQ. On the August 7th Episode of RAW, Batista challenged Punk to a Falls Count Anywhere Match which Punk won. Later in the night Vince challenged Punk to a No Holds Barred Match at SummerSlam for his Contract which Punk accepted. If Punk loses, his Contract is terminated. Punk got some retribution on the August 8th, 2017 Episode of SmackDown Live where he, Cena, Reigns, and Orton defeated The New Authority in a 8 Man Tag Team Match in the Main Event. The following week, Punk continued his quest on the Authority when he jumped Vince, Shane, Batista, and Shawn Michaels backstage. Later on in the night he was in the ring challenging Triple H who came out to fight. Moments later he was joined by the rest of the Authority. Punk had some help join in when John Cena and Roman Reigns came out to assist. Vince made a match where Punk would face Sting in the Main Event. The Main Event ended in a Disqualification when Punk was attacked by the Authority. Smackdown ended with a huge brawl. The Following Week on RAW, CM Punk got into a heated conversation with WWE European Champion Daniel Bryan. Following a Brawl a impromptu 6 Man Match started with Punk, Reigns, and Cena against Batista, Daniel Bryan, and Ric Flair. The Match ended in a Brawl once again. Punk dropped Batista with a GTS. Later that night during the Contract signing with Mr. McMahon, Linda McMahon made her return to the WWE announcing a new stipulation. If Punk loses, he’s terminated from the WWE. If Mr. McMahon has anyone interfere on his behalf the New Authority is Fired.

6 Man Tag Team Match
The Wyatt Family VS The New Day

At The Great American Bash Rowan and Harper won the World Tag Team Championship from Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins. At Money in the Bank, Bray Wyatt won the Money in the Bank Contract. On the next Episode of Monday Night RAW, Bray Wyatt cut a promo reminding Seth Rollins that his Title reign was numbered. The next Night on SmackDown Live The Wyatts began a Feud with the New Day after defeating them in a 6 Man Tag Team Match. Afterwards Rowan and Harper sent Big E and Woods through the Anouncers Table as Bray forced Kofi to watch. On the August 5, 2017 Episode of Main Event, Bray Wyatt cut a Promo telling The New Day to run. On the August 7th Episode of RAW, Harper and Rowan defended the World Tag Team Titles against New Day. Afterwards Bray dropped Kofi with a Sister Abigail. On the August 8th Episode of SmackDown Live the New Day requested a rematch with the Wyatts which Triple H announced a 6 Man Tag Team Match between Day and Wyatts at SummerSlam. On the August 14th RAW, Bray defeated Big E. Afterwards, the Wyatts left New Day lying.

Steel Cage
Dean Ambrose(c) VS Kane

At Money in the Bank Kane and Ambrose fought to a double Countout and Ambrose retained the Title. The next night on Monday Night RAW Kane attacked Ambrose after his Match with John Morrison. Ambrose and Kane were on opposite sides in a 6 Man Tag Team Match the next night on SmackDown Live which ended in a Double DQ. On the August 7th Episode of RAW, Kane faced Roman Reigns and the match ended in a Disqualification when Daniel Bryan attacked Reigns. Ambrose went after Kane who fled the ring. On the August 8th Episode of SmackDown Live Kane attacked Booker T during their match with a Chair to send Ambrose a message. Moments earlier he burned a photo of Dean to send a message. Dean attacked Kane afterwards and again in the backstage area where Shane McMahon announced the Intercontinental Title would be defended inside a Steel Cage at SummerSlam. The next Week on RAW it was announced by Triple H and Stephanie that because Roman has been challenging .Authority, Dean Ambrose is banned to his locker room. The next night on the August 15th Edition of SmackDown Live, Ambrose taunted Batista in the backstage area. Batista then ordered Dean to face Kevin Owens later and the match ended in a DQ when Kane came out and attacked Ambrose. Owens tried to help but Kane dropped him with a Boot. Kane then Chokeslammed Dean through the Announcers Table. The Following RAW, Kane sent Ambrose a Message where he said “Hell was coming at SummerSlam.” He defeated Dolph Ziggler afterwards.

Last Woman Standing Match
Charlotte Flair VS Brie Bella

At Extreme Rules Charlotte teamed with the Bella Twins to take on Riott Squad in a 6 Woman Tag Team Match. Nikki Bella lost the Match for them where Charlotte attacked them afterwards with a Chair. Flair snapped Nikki’s ankle with the Chair and almost snapped Brie’s before she was stopped by Referees. Over the next couple weeks the Two attacked each other. Stephanie McMahon announced a Match between the Two at Money in the Bank with Flair choosing the kind of match. At Money in the Bank Flair beat Brie in a 30 Minute Iron Woman's Match 3-2. On the next night on RAW, Charlotte and Brie appeared on Miz and Mrs. TV where Brie warned Charlotte this wasn’t over. On the next night on SmackDown Live! Brie Bella’s Theme played during Charlotte’s match with Tamina and cost her the Match. Afterwards Brie jumped Charlotte but Flair was able to escape. On the August 5, 2017 Episode of Main Event, Charlotte challenged Brie to a Match at SummerSlam. Brie accepted the challenge on the August 7th Episode of RAW which by the order of Batista who was running the Show announced a Last Woman Standing Match at SummerSlam. The next Week on RAW Brie beat Alexa Bliss. After the match, Charlotte taunted her from the stage clapping her hands. Later that night, Charlotte was in a match with Bayley when Brie came down looking for a fight forcing Charlotte to leave the ring not interested. Brie taunted her from the ring.

Ziggler defeated Shinsuke Nakamura at Money in the Bank to earn this Match with Friend Rey Mysterio.

The Club VS Seth Rollins(c) Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins

The Club ambushed Universal Champion Seth Rollins and Hawkins and Ryder tried to save him. Over the next few weeks these 6 Men engaged in Matches. Shane McMahon announced this Match for SummerSlam. Styles has already defeated Rollins as well.

RAW Women's Championship
Single Match
Becky Lynch(c) VS Nia Jax

Becky won the RAW Women’s Championship and in her First Reign. Lynch defeated Chyna who made her return to challenge The Man in a Feud. At Money in the Bank she retained her Title against Nia Jax. On the August Week 1 Edition of RAW Lynch defeated Ruby Riott and was ambushed at the top of the ramp by Nia Jax who was still targeting Lynch. The next night on SmackDown Live it was announced by Stephanie McMahon that Lynch and Jax will meet at SummerSlam for the RAW Women’s Championship. On the August 7th Episode of RAW after a victory over Maryse, Nia Jax came out to taunt Becky. The following RAW, Becky defeated Lacey Evans and Nia Jax dropped Becky with a Samoan Drop. Lynch tried to get retribution the following Week when she tried to attack Nia Jax during her Match with Paige. Jax ran away before Lynch could get her hands on her.

Bayley is holding her Title high celebrating until she's attacked from behind by Sonya DeVille and Mandy Rose. The Two Women stomp away at Bayley as Miss Money in the Bank, PAIGE comes down carrying the Briefcase!

Absolution continues their attack on Bayley. Paige hands the Briefcase to the Referee. She's cashing in!

Becky: "Well the Man has come around to Manchester. Charly you're right, I beat Nia Jax's *** at Money in the Bank. She still wants a shot at the Champ? Fine with me. Nia you listen closely and you listen good. Tonight the Man is gonna show you what it's like to be in the big time. "

Jax lands a Samoan Drop getting a 2 count. Lynch battles back swinging rights and lefts as she's all over Nia. Jax rolls out of the ring as she tries to get separation but Lynch is hot on her tail swinging rights and lefts on the outside. Jax stumbles away but Lynch tackles her through the Barricade! Jax and Lynch continue their attack on each other through the fans as the Referee hits the 10 count.

Winner: None(Double Countout)

The bell rings while Lynch and Jax don't care. They're still swinging at each other through the fans and Lynch slams Jax's head on the ramp. Jax tries to get away but Becky is still all over her as she grabs a Chair from the ramp and lays waste to Jax as officials come to break it up and Jax runs away.

Backstage we see Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Shane, Vince, Batista, HBK and Flair standing in their Office. Everyone wearing nice Suits. Flair with the WWE Title over his shoulder.

Vince is pacing back and forth.

Steph: “Dad will you relax? We have to figure out what our plan is for Punk later.”

Shane: “Plan? You heard Mom. None of us can get involved. Our hands are tied.”

H: “That’s just for tonight. Vince you go out there and you teach Punk a lesson. You end his career. You be ruthless like I know you can. It’s what’s best for business.”

Vince: “Don’t worry. Tonight I make Punk’s life a living HELL.”

Renee: "Dean Ambrose I wanted to get your thoughts on defending your Intercontinental Title against Kane inside a Steel Cage."

Ambrose: "Yes Kane and I inside a Cage tonight. You know Renee this is SummerSlam the BIGGEST party of the Summer. Need to go out with a bang and I'll tell you what Renee, afterwards I can show you a party if you like. Hehehe no matter, not important. Kane I'll see you later. Remember you're going to have to kill me to take my Intercontinental Championship."

Charlotte Flair VS Brie Bella

Flair smacks a chair over the head of Brie but Brie is back to her feet at the count of 6. Flair yells at Brie taunting her but Brie fights back slapping Flair hard across the face. Brie yells "Brie Mode!" and spears Charlotte sending both Women through the ropes crashing hard to the mat below. Both Women down as the Ref's count is at 7 and both Women drag themselves up in this war. Charlotte throws a right hand but Brie blocks it and drops her rival with a DDT hard on the mat. Brie grabs a Chair and lays waste to the Queen as the Ref begins to count again. Flair drags herself up and the Two Women are face to face again. All of a sudden, Nikki Bella jumps over the barricade making her return after 4 months with a chair slides into the ring! She stands by her Sister, chair in hand. Flair tries to back up as she's staring at both Nikki and Brie. The Bellas hug and Brie takes a step towards Flair but Nikki slams the Chair in her back! Fans boo like crazy as Nikki smirks at her fallen Sister. Flair laughs as Nikki picks up a lifeless Brie and drops her with a Rack-Attack. Nikki holds up the Chair and tells the ref to count as she walks away drawing boos from the WWE Universe.

Ambrose hits the Dirty Deeds but struggles to get back to his feet or make a Cover. Kane to his feet drops Ambrose with a Big Boot laughing. The Lunatic Fringe battles back as he and Kane climb the Cage and stand on the turnbuckle. Ambrose with a right hand, then Kane, then Ambrose, but then Kane grips Ambrose's throat! a vicious Chokeslam off the turnbuckle drops Ambrose motionless to the mat. Kane rolls over and hooks Dean's leg.

Kane holds his newly won Intercontinental Title high as Ambrose lies motionless in the ring.

The Cage raises and Kane laughs evily as he drags the lifeless Ambrose over to the Commentary table. Kane grips Dean's throat again and Chokeslams him through the Table.

Bray Wyatt drops Big E with a Sister Abigail to win.

CM Punk VS Mr. McMahon

Punk is just toying with Vince this whole match. He slaps Vince dropping the Boss. Punk slides out grabbing a Chair taunting Mr. McMahon. Punk lays waste to him with a shot after shot after shot as Vince yells in pain. Punk sets the Chair up in the ring and sits in it as he continues to taunt Vince. Vince to his feet refusing to back down as Punk continues his assault on the Owner. Stephanie runs out on stage pleading with Punk as Shane joins her holding his Sister back. All they can do is watch or get fired. Punk grabs a Kendo Stick from under the ring and taunts the McMahons laughing. Vince with a Chair smacks it across Punks back as Shane and Stephanie cheer from the stage. Punk battles back catching Vince with a kick to his head dropping him. The Best in the World picks up the Kendo Stick and begins to assault Vince again. Punk laughs at this before picking up Vince and dropping him with a GTS. Vince begins to bleed bad from the head as Stephanie and Shane look on in horror. Punk taunts them from the ring laughing. Punk delivers another GTS and another. 3 GTS later and Punk stands over a lifeless Vince. Punk slides out of the ring and grabs a Table from underneath sliding it in the ring. Punk sets it up and sets Vince's motionless body on it. Punk climbs the turnbuckle and hits the Elbow Drop crashing through Vince. Punk laughs at Shane and Stephanie who look on in horror as Punk picks up a lifeless Vince and delivers a last GTS to pin the Boss.

Winner: CM Punk

The bell rings and Shane and Stephanie rush to their Father's aide as EMT's load him up on a Stretcher and a neck brace. Punk walks up the ramp laughing and taunting the McMahon Family.

We see the EMT's load Vince into the Ambulance as Stephanie is joined by Triple H to comfort his Wife. Stephanie and Triple H climb into the Ambulance telling Vince they're coming with him. Shane closes the doors patting on them and they take off.

World Heavyweight Championship

Brock Lesnar(c) W/Paul Heyman VS Randy Orton

Lesnar hits Suplex after Suplex on Orton. The Beast shows no mercy as Lesnar continues his assault. Heyman laughs as he holds the World Title close to his chest. Lesnar climbs out of the ring and grabs a Chair. Lesnar slides in to attack Orton but the Viper out of nowhere hits the RKO! Lesnar slides out of the ring before Orton could cover. Orton climbs out but Lesnar grabs him and drops him with an F5 hard on the mat. Lesnar picks up the lifeless Orton and slides him into the ring and delivers a second F5 to hook the leg.

Winner and STILL World Heavyweight Champion: Brock Lesnar

Heyman climbs in and hands his Client the World Heavyweight Title. Lesnar holds it high as he taunts the Fans.

Backstage we see European Champion Daniel Bryan ready for his match. HBK comes up to him and the Two high five.

HBK: "Ready Champ?"

Bryan: "Absolutely, how's Mr. McMahon?"

HBK: "He's okay. Stephanie, Shane, and Hunter are there with him."

Bryan: "Good to hear. Lets go deal with Roman."

WWE European Championship
Single Match
Daniel Bryan(c) W/Shawn Michaels VS Roman Reigns

Reigns hits the Superman Punch and gets ready for the Spear, HBK up on the apron to distract Reigns who throws a punch knocking him off the apron. When Reigns turns around he gets blasted with Bryan's flying knee. He hooks the leg but Reigns gets the shoulder up at 2 and Bryan can't believe it. HBK argues the count with the Ref. Bryan slides out and grabs his European Title and slides back into the ring but Reigns delivers a Spear! He covers Bryan but before the Ref counts 3, HBK slides in and attacks Reigns saving Bryan's Title.

Winner: Roman Reigns(DQ)

HBK and Daniel Bryan continue their attack on Reigns as Michaels leaves the Big Dog laying after some Sweet Chin Music. Michaels and Bryan leave laughing holding the European Title high.

Backstage we see Randy Orton standing backstage upset he lost. WWE Champion Ric Flair walks by ready for his match. The WWE Title slung over his shoulder.

Flair: "WOOOO! Randy what happened out there tonight man?"

Orton stares at him. "What do you want Ric?"

Flair: "Randy you're a shell of yourself man. Look at you standing back here broken. You lost your World Heavyweight Championship to Brock Lesnar and he tore you apart out there tonight. What happened to you Orton? What happened to the Legend Killer? Where's the Viper? You're pathetic Randy."

Orton looks at Ric considering his words. Flair slaps him hard across the face and Woo's as he walks away.

Orton watches Flair go and shows a smirk.

Ric Flair(c) VS Undertaker

Undertaker lifts Flair up looking for the Tombstone but accidently takes out the Ref. Taker hits the Tombstone but no Ref. The Deadman to his feet but Orton slides in out of nowhere and drops Taker with an RKO! He pulls Flair over on top of him and revives the Ref to count the 3 costing Taker the WWE Title.

Winner and STILL WWE Champion: Ric Flair

Fans boo as Orton smirks at the WWE Universe. The Undertaker lies motionless after the RKO as Orton slides out of the ring and grabs 2 Steel Chairs and tosses them into the ring. Flair helps Orton set the Deadman's head onto a Chair as Orton walks over with a sick sinister grin on his face. The Undertaker lies motionless on the chair as Orton nails him with a vicious Con Chair To. A sickening thud echoes out as Taker doesn't move.
