Winners: Michael Modest

Segment rating: D-

------

Cody Carter, CCW's backstage announcer stood next to a glass case in the ring. Inside the case sat a brand new title. Carter announced to the fans that CCW would be bringing a new title to the federation... in honor of being placed on syndication, CCW proudly presents the CCW TV Title! Carter also announced that there would be an eight man tournament for the title... and the first match is next!

Segment rating: E-

The Great Sasuke vs. Mitch "1st class" Franklin
-- CCW TV Title Tournament Match--

vs.

In this first round matchup, Sasuke and Franklin tangled in a short match that was completely dominated by Sasuke. Finally, at 5:54 into the match, Sasuke picked up the easily pinfall victory and advanced into round two of the CCW TV Title Tournament!

Winner: The Great Sasuke

Segment rating: E

------

After the match, Don Paysan walked onto the stage and mockingly clapped The Great Sasuke's win. Paysan made sure to mention that he also was involved in the CCW TV Title Tournament and that he was letting everyone know that no one, not even the Great Sasuke himself could stop Paysan from becoming the very first CCW TV Champ. Sasuke and Paysan had a brief, but intense stare down before Paysan walked to the back.

Segment rating: E

------

The Masked Masked Man was warming up backstage in preparation for his CCW TV Title Tournament match that was coming up next when he was brutally attacked by Black Pain and K-Pusha. The attack seemed random, and most of all, totally unprovoked. Paramedics checked on the downed Masked Man as Pain and Pusha walked off the scene admiring their handy work.

Segment rating: F+

------

The Masked Masked Man vs. Nick Logan
-- CCW TV Title Tournament Match--

vs.

As Nick Logan waited in the ring, The Masked Masked Man's music hit but the injured wrestler wasn't showing. Having no choice, referee Marty Elias had no choice but to start the 10 count for The Masked Masked Man. At 5, Masked Man appeared at the entrance ramp and hobbled into the ring ring before Elias reached 10. Once the match began, Masked Man, beaten and broken wisely staid on the defensive until he found a opening and pinned Logan in 7:34 with a Seated Senton.

Winner: The Masked Masked Man

Segment rating: E+

------

Backstage a camera crew caught Jon Ryan and Eric Davenport engaged in an heated discussion... after it looked like cooler heads had prevailed, Ryan threw a sucker punch at Davenport and the fight was on! Back and forth, back and forth the two former partners continued to throw punches at each other while crashing over any and all furniture in their way. Finally the two wrestlers were broken up by personnel as each were lead away shouting threats at each other!

Segment rating: F

------

Tom Howard vs. Daisuke Ikeda
--CCW Heavyweight Title Match--

vs.

In tonight's main event, Tom Howard defended his title against his first challenger, Daisuke Ikeda. Ikeda was looking to garner some sort of revenge for the banishing of his friend Alexander Otsuka after Howard was able to send the former CCW Heavyweight Champion out of the promotion and all the way back to Japan.

In a match that was back and forth throughout, Howard was finally able to score the pinfall victory over Ikeda in 13:16. With the win, Howard has now successfully defended his title for the first time.

Winner and still CCW Heavyweight Champion: Tom Howard

Segment rating: D

Re: Cap City Wrestling

You are doing pretty good here. I ave been writing with EWR for about 3 years now and post on other wrestling forums, but none of them have any backyard to global stuff. If they do they fail so this is a good read for me. Don't see it very often. Good job and keep it up!

Segment rating: E

------

Black Pain vs. Caprice "The Natural" Coleman

vs.

The monster Black Pain came to the ring for solo action. Coleman was already in the ring waiting for him. Never a good sign for Coleman. After some back and forth action, Pain picked up Coleman and wracked him in the Torture Rack for a submission victory at 5:44.

After the match, Pain delivered a few kicks to the gut of Coleman for good measure.

Winner: Black Pain

Segment rating: E-

------

Alex Porteau vs. Alex Wright
--Pose Down Contest--

vs.

Wright and Porteau get in the ring and start strutting their stuff to the groans of the audience. After a few minutes the fans are asked who they think the winner should be and they decide it is Porteau.

Wright does not agree with the decision and starts to pout! As Porteau is celebrating in the ring, the angry Wright grabs him from behind and lands a devastating German Suplex to leave the victorious Porteau crumpled up in the ring.

Winner: Alex Porteau

Segment rating: E-

------

Backstage Nick Logan was talking to a stage hand. A gloved hand tapped him on the shoulder. Logan turned around to see the hand belonging to that of Black Pain. Behind him, K-Pusha and Lionel Knight grinned at the thought of the beating that was about to commence. Without warning, Pain threw a thunderous right hand to Logan's jaw. Pusha and Knight followed that up with blows of their own before they finally were satisfied.

Segment rating: F-

------

Misterioso vs. Nate "The Great" Geller
-- CCW TV Title Tournament Match--

vs.

In the final match of the first round for the CCW TV Title Tournament, Misterioso wasted not time in dispatching Nate Geller. Although Geller gave Misterioso his best shot, he finally fell victim to the Misterious Splash at 4:37.

Winner: Misterioso

Segment rating: D-

------

Eric Davenport walked to the ring with a mic in his hand. He told everyone in attendance that after what his former partner Jon Ryan has done... the only thing fair, to him, and to the fans is to give the two a No-DQ match next week on CCW Wednesday Night Wrestling. The crowd agreed.

Segment rating: E+

------

Backstage announcer Cody Carter appeared on screen to let everyone know that the board of directors of CCW had conferred and agreed to the Eric Davenport/Jon Ryan No-DQ match that will take place next week. The crowd erupted upon hearing the news.

Segment rating: F+

------

Tom Howard vs. Michael Modest
--CCW Heavyweight Title Match--

vs.

After dispatching of Daisuke Ikeda last week, Tom Howard was once again in the position of putting his title on the line when he defended against the other top heavyweight in CCW, Michael Modest. This match had it all. Violence, athleticism, passion and a good crowd. The end came when the wrestlers we both counted out while brawling on the floor outside the ring. Because CCW has a rule that a champion can't lose his title on a DQ, and because both wrestlers were DQ'ed, Tom Howard walked away with the belt in a 12 minute match.

Winner and still CCW Heavyweight Champion: Tom Howard

Segment rating: D

------

Final Show Rating: D-

In the first semi-final match of the CCW TV Title tournament, Don Paysan squared off against the Mexican warrior, Misterioso. After a back and forth match, Paysan won the match with the End is Nigh (A Fisherman's Suplex) at 7:05.

Winner: Don Paysan

Segment rating: E+

------

Alex Wright came to the ring to tell the crowd just how damn good he is. He told everyone that the pose down contest last week was nothing but a biased crowd and that he didn't need their support... he'd show everyone what he was all about inside the ring.

Segment rating: E+

------

Eric Davenport vs. Jon Ryan
--No DQ Match--

vs.

After weeks and weeks of Davenport and Ryan going back and forth sabotaging the other... they finally squared off in their blow off match. The match, as announced last week, was held under No DQ rules.

Ryan held the early advantage in the match when he blindsided Davenport with a chair shot that looked like it would end the match. Unable to capitalize though, Ryan was only able to secure a two count before Davenport kicked out.

Feeling a second wind, Davenport finally took control of the match and finished off Ryan with the Midnight Delight (Spike DDT) in 20:48.

Winner: Eric Davenport

Segment rating: D-

------

After the match, Davenport grabbed a mic and thanked the fans for showing him the way. He said he was tired of Ryan who was always an enabler... and that Davenport planned to change his ways for the better. He pledged from this moment forward to be a wrestler the fans could respect and cheer.

Segment rating: E+

------

The Great Sasuke vs. The Masked Masked Man
-- CCW TV Title Tournament Match--

vs.

The last semi-final match for the TV Title took place between the two fan favorites... The Great Sasuke and the Masked Masked Man. In what turned out to be an ultra quick match, The Great Sasuke stunned MMM with a barrage of kicks that were just too much for the youngster. Sasuke won the match in 3:46 and advanced to the final of the CCW TV Title tournament where he will face Don Paysan.

Winner: The Great Sasuke

Segment rating: D-

------

Ring intros are being done for tonight's main event. In one corner we have Michael Modest, and in the other corner, we have CCW Champion Tom Howard. These two men fought to a draw last week and are looking to settle the score once and for all with this match. The two competitors went face to face in the ring before the referee pulled them apart and sent them to their respective corners.

Segment rating: E-

------

Tom Howard vs. Michael Modest
--CCW Heavyweight Title Match--

vs.

The rematch everyone wanted to see after last week's hotly contested title match is finally here.

Modest seemed to have the fans on his side for this match as they cheered nearly every time he knocked Howard to the ground.

Back and forth this match went until Modest was finally able to catch Howard with the Black Out (Code Breaker) that secured him the win and his very first CCW Title win at 7:57.

Winner and NEW CCW Heavyweight Champion: Michael Modest

Segment rating: D

------

Final Show Rating: D-

Backstage "Das Wunderkind" Alex Wright was walking around the catering area. Suddenly he froze in his tracks and his face became affixed with a look of shock. Standing in front of him was none other than former WCW alum LA PARKA!!! The Chairman of the Board has made his way to CCW! Wright went to shake La Parka's hand, but rebuffed and then ate a CHAIR SHOT!

After the beating, La Parka did his funky dance over the fallen Wright!

Segment rating: E

------

Eric Davenport vs. Tom Howard

vs.

This matchup brought together two guys who were heading in opposite directions. On one hand, you have Tom Howard, former CCW Champion... he's looking to rebound from his loss and re-stake his claim as the best wrestler in the world.

On the other hand, we have Eric Davenport a man who just won a bitter feud with former partner Jon Ryan. Davenport seems to be on the rise.

In a match that shocked man, Davenport picked up the surprising pinfall victory with the Midnight Delight at 9:32. Tom Howard was besides himself in the ring after the match.

Winner: Eric Davenport

------

An indy rock video played to clips of Don Paysan and The Great Sasuke tearing their way through competition. The graphic hyped their CCW TV Title match up next week. The video ended with a confident looking Paysan with his hand raised in victory

Michael Modest vs. Jon Ryan
--Non-Title Match--

In tonight's main event, Michael Modest took on Jon Ryan in a non-title matchup. Modest and Ryan proved to be equal opponents as neither could really get a leg up on his opponent.

Winner: Michael Modest

Segment rating: D-

------

Main Show

Alex Porteau vs. Mitch Franklin

vs.

In a rematch of last week's opening match, 1st Class Franklin squared off against Alex Porteau. In a reversal of fortunes, Franklin was able to pick up the surprising pinfall victory with a sunset flip in 5:54.

Winner: Mitch Franklin

Segment rating: D-

------

A video played hyping the upcoming match between the New School and the newly formed tag team, The Logan Boys

Segment rating: F

------

The New School vs. The Logan Boys

vs.

In a rarity for CCW, a tag match made it to the card as The New School took on The Logan Boys. After a back and forth match, the match was called at 6:30 due to a double count out that occurred after Matt and Nick Logan both launched theirselves over the top rope and onto the New School causing too much damage for either team to continue.

Winners: Draw

Segment rating: E+

------

In ring, newcomer Excess was spouting his virtues to the crowd when Tom Howard came down to the ring with a pissed off look on his face. After a short verbal spat, Howard slapped Excess in the face and challenged him to a Submissions match later in the show. An enraged Excess accepted and promised to beat Howard at his own game.

Segment rating: F+

------

Eric Davenport vs. Jon Ryan

vs.

When we last saw Davenport vs. Ryan, Davenport was pinning Ryan to win their feud. In their return match, the two wrestlers looked as if they were even competitors until CCW Champion Michael Modest slipped out from the back and gave Davenport a shot to the head with his CCW Title while the ref wasn't looking causing Ryan to pick up the tainted win.

Winner: Jon Ryan

Segment rating: D-

------

Don Paysan was showing off to Alex Wright his newly crowned CCW TV Title when La Parka came walking by. Paysan explained to both that The Great Sasuke was afraid to face him in a match so the board of directors had no choice but to give Paysan the CCW TV Title. La Parka didn't seem to understand so he played his chair like a guitar. Alex Wright said he was a better dancer and he started to pull out techno moves from his past.

Having seen enough, Paysan suggested the two have a match and if they impressed him, he'll give them a shot at his title. Wright and Parka agreed... but both decided it would first be best to dance it out backstage.

Segment rating: E-

------

La Parka vs. Alex Wright

vs.

Apparently satisfied with the outcome of their dance off backstage, La Parka and Wright made their way to the ring for their one on one showdown.

In a match one might have seen 10+ years ago on WCW Thunder, Parka and Wright gave their all in a very fast paced match.

In the end, Parka caught Wright with a running knee to the head knocking out the German and giving Parka the win in 9:03.

After the match, Parka danced over a fallen Wright.

Winner: La Parka

Segment rating: D-

------

Excess vs. Tom Howard
--Submission Match--

vs.
Responding to Tom Howard's slap, and challenge, Excess came to the ring to take on the angry Australian. This match was being contested under submission rules so the only way to win the match is to make your opponent tap out.

Howard should have the advantage in this match as he is well versed in submissions. Surprisingly Excess holds his own and seems to have had Howard scouted very well.

Finally, the match ends when Excess catches Howard in an awkward position and slaps a Boston Crab on him for the submission victory at 9:30.

Winner: Excess

Segment rating: E+

------

Final Show Rating: E+
